
Megan Markham is an Arkansas native with seven Arkansas Press Association awards and over 13 years of experience in marketing and graphic design.
In 2009, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Design from Henderson State University. That same year, she worked for the city of Caddo Valley where her roles included Office Manager, Water Clerk, and Deputy Court Clerk.
During her career, she has worked for a wide range of companies including ad agencies, engineering firms, municipal government, and state government. She has designed ads and printed materials for clients all over the United States and designed printed materials for distribution in Japan, China, Germany, Ireland, and France.
While at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission she designed printed and digital materials for the Minority and Women-Owned Business Matchmaking Event, Rural Development Conference, and the Czech Film Festival. Megan also designed the postcards and posters to promote Governor Asa Hutchinson’s 2017 Strategic Plan.
While at AEDC, Megan was promoted to Grants Manager for the Division of Rural Services. Helping educate rural communities about available funding was a task near and dear to her heart. Being from a rural community herself, it was a role she was very passionate about.
Megan is the Marketing Coordinator for the Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston. While at the Secretary of State’s Office, Megan was placed in charge of updating the Arkansas Redistricting website and the creation of the Election Video Series used to educate Arkansans on the voting process in the state. Megan graduated from the Community Development Institute (CDI) in August 2022.
As a Marketing Coordinator, Megan enjoys promoting all divisions of a business. Her passion is telling a company’s story in creative and meaningful ways so that it resonates with the audience. She has a results-driven approach that is focused on driving people to learn more about her clients through branding and marketing.
Megan was born and raised in Langley, Arkansas, and is the daughter of Randy and Sonja Markham and currently resides in North Little Rock.
