
Chad Hearne serves as the executive director of the UCA Foundation, Inc. at the University of Central Arkansas. In his role as executive director, Chad upholds the UCA Foundation’s mission of furthering the goals of the University of Central Arkansas by securing and carefully managing over $30 million in endowments and over $80 million in total net assets for the support of the university, including funding for student scholarships and several major building projects across campus. Hearne has been employed at UCA for nearly 15 years, working in several different financial areas of the University, including Financial Aid, Housing, and the Student Accounts business office. He has also been active across campus over the years, serving as Staff Senate President, increasing the staff’s exposure to administration through shared governance initiatives. Hearne also assisted in implementing critical enrollment management initiatives aiding in boosting enrollment with the help of a group of front-line directors across campus.
Hearne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Central Arkansas. He is also a 2019 graduate of the College Business Management Institute at the University of Kentucky, a 3-year program offering an intensive study in business and financial management for administrators of colleges and universities.
He is actively involved with his church at the Robinson & Center Church of Christ, where he assists with involvement for church members while also coordinating activities that positively impact the community surrounding the church’s location in historic downtown Conway. He also assists with budgeting and financial administration for the church to ensure proper stewardship of gifted funds critical to supporting the church’s mission.
