
Manager, Government Relations – Tyson Foods, Inc
Ross Dunn is a Regional Manager of State and Local Government Relations at Tyson Foods, Inc. In this role he is responsible for Tyson’s government relations efforts in eleven states across the south and east coast spreading from Arkansas to Maryland.
Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Dunn worked as Business Development Director for The Poultry Federation. There, he lobbied on behalf of the poultry industry in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri and managed The Poultry Federations efforts to grow and retain membership.
In 2014, Dunn accepted a role at Arkansas Farm Bureau as Assistant Director of Public Policy and Rural Development. At Farm Bureau Dunn helped lead legislative and regulatory efforts for the agriculture community across Arkansas. In 2015 he launched the Patriot Project, a mentorship program that involves pairing a veteran who is new to agriculture with a seasoned farmer. It has since spread to several other states.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas Dunn’s career began with positions working for Noble Strategies and then state Attorney General Dustin McDaniel.
