She will manage and track legislation that affects the business community and advocate for opportunities to expand business in a healthy and sustainable manner.
Prior to joining the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce, she served in the Florida House of Representatives as a Legislative Aide for both the Chair of the Education Committee and the Chair of the Ways & Means Committee. In her role as a Legislative Aide, she was responsible for handling all legislation, funding requests, and policy interests for the Representatives. Additionally, she served as a liaison for varying interest groups, State Agencies, and elected officials. Sara Lynn earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, while simultaneously working with Orange County Government on varying policy issues facing the area, ranging from establishing a child protection court program to enacting human trafficking awareness campaigns throughout the county and eventually the state.
Sara Lynn recently married Arkansas-native, Drax Geiger, and they decided to make Arkansas their home. They currently reside in Rogers and, along with their German Shepherd, Maggie, are looking forward to establishing roots as a family in the Natural State. They are active members of their church and are constantly looking to invest further in the community, ranging from mentoring foster youth to serving the homeless. Sara Lynn is also pursuing her Master of Public Administration and looking forward to better serving NWA!
