Candice Lawrence will be the newest edition to the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA staff when she joins the team as the Director of Communications on October 1. Prior to joining the state chamber team, Candice served as the communications representative, visitor’s services manager, and community outreach coordinator for Caterpillar Inc.’s North Little Rock facility.
During Candice’s 12-year career at Caterpillar, she is proud to have become a lean Six Sigma green belt, a level one operator of the 140 M2 motor grader, and a graduate of Caterpillar’s Marketing Orientation Program. Most recently, she served as the on-air talent for a series of enterprise-wide sales videos targeting conquest customers.
Candice is most proud of the work she is humbled to do as a member of Junior Achievement of Arkansas’ Central Board of Directors and the Arkansas Workforce Development Board. In addition, she is a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock’s Class XXXV.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas and is eager to shamelessly show off her skillset and dance moves learned from her time in the Razorback Marching Band when football season rolls around.
Candice and her husband Jeremy live in Cabot with their daughter, Adia, and three insane dogs—Iris, Apple, and Diesel. Carrying on the Razorback tradition is Austin, their sophomore son who attends the University of Arkansas, completely unimpressed by his mom’s knowledge of all band marches and cheer moves, while refusing to recognize her as the best in sight and sound.
