Ventrell Thompson received an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and an MBA from John Brown University. Ventrell began his Entergy career almost 18 years ago as a contractor providing auditing and process improvement services. He was hired on by Entergy as a rate design analyst supporting regulatory filings for each of the Entergy operating companies. Ventrell later joined the Arkansas Regulatory Affairs team where he was responsible for coordinating regulatory proceedings with the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Today, Ventrell is the Regional Customer Service Manager servicing Entergy’s largest commercial and industrial customers as well as city and county public officials.
Ventrell is married to Joy, who is an educator. They have two boys, Caleb 20, and Chace 7. He has a passion for helping others, which is shown by his commitment to numerous nonprofit organizations. He has been awarded the Real Man of Service Award from the 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock and was a member of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Little Rock Class 33. Ventrell is committed to his work in and out of the office.
