Sammie Cribbs currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. Cribbs has been with North Arkansas Regional Medical Center since 2007 and serving in leadership capacity since 2011. She holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Louisiana Tech University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northwestern State University and master’s degree in Nursing Adult Heath from the Arkansas State University.
Cribbs is a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse and holds a certification in healthcare finance. She currently serves on the board of the North Arkansas Partnership for Health Education, Nursing Advisory Board for College of the Ozarks, and Northark Adult Education Advisory board. Cribbs is an active member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and American College of Healthcare Executives.
Cribbs was named one of Arkansas’s Outstanding 40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 in 2015 and in 2016 was awarded the patriotic employer award. Sammie’s professional interest include clinical processes, operational efficiencies, financial sustainability in healthcare and leadership development for young leaders. Sammie enjoys spending time on the lakes around the Ozarks, sky diving in the fresh air, and finding a new trail in the wilderness to explore!
