Drew Williams is the Vice President of Business Development for Baldwin & Shell Construction Company where he assists clients in turning ideas into brick and mortar. He works out of the Little Rock Corporate Office for the Central Arkansas Division, where he’s focused on K-12, Higher Education, Medical, Commercial, and Industrial clients. He joined the firm in August of 2019.
Before starting at Baldwin & Shell, Drew worked for nearly eight years at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). He served as a Project Manager in the Business Development Division for four years and spent another four years as the Northwest Arkansas Regional Manager in the Community Development Division. While at AEDC, he was fortunate to facilitate numerous projects, which created thousands of jobs and injected nearly a billion dollars of capital investment in Arkansas.
Prior to AEDC, Drew worked for two years in the non-profit sector at Habitat for Humanity of Saline County as the Resource Development Director. His fundraising initiatives developed 20 new homes in Habitat Village and one event is still going on eleven years later, “Souper Bowl”.
Drew received a Bachelors of Science in Economics and a Masters of Science in Community & Economic Development from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a certified Community and Economic Developer from the Community Development Institute at UCA where he received the prestigious Earnest L. Whitelaw award. Drew is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute from the University of Oklahoma.
Drew enjoys fishing, duck hunting, golfing, cooking for friends, and most of all spending time with his wife Anne and son Baxley. Drew volunteers at his church, St. Mark’s Episcopal in Little Rock, serving on the Community Outreach Committee and as one of the cooks for the Annual St. Francis House Shrimp Boil. He also served on the St. Mark’s vestry for three years from 2015-2018. In 2020, Drew joined the Junior Achievement State Board of Directors.
