Over his 25-year career, Chad Kinsley has held diverse leadership roles in the manufacturing, medical device development, and energy sectors. Chad’s vocational passion is in the energy sector where he has spent the last 12 years leading electrical and natural gas businesses. He is currently the Director of Gas Operations for Black Hills Energy Arkansas. In this role, Chad is responsible for leading a team in safely and reliably providing natural gas to 175,000 customers across Arkansas.
Chad is committed to giving back through industry and civic organizations. He has served on Midwestern Energy Association and Rocky Mountain Electric League industry committees. Chad also has been a Habitat for Humanity Family Advocate and he and his wife are currently in the process of becoming foster parents through The Call. He and his family are members of Cross Church Springdale where they are actively involved in children’s ministries.
Chad was born and raised in South Dakota and graduated as an electrical engineer from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, and certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Chad relocated to Arkansas two years ago and now lives in Springdale, AR with his wife of 17 years, Sundy, and their four kids. In his downtime, Chad enjoys family time, running, cycling, and backpacking.
