
Colonel Tina L. Lipscomb is the 189th Mission Support Group Commander, 189th Airlift Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, Arkansas. As such, she leads more than 4oo Airman who provide base operating support to the wing through various specialties and career fields, including security, civil engineering, personnel management and accountability, communications, contracting, supply, transportation, dining, and services. The wing hosts the C-130H Formal Training Unit, graduating combat-ready aircrew and combat ready Airmen for ongoing global military operations, along with a new emerging Cyber Operations mission. The 189th also responds to domestic operations in times of state or national emergencies.
Colonel Lipscomb enlisted in the Arkansas Army National Guard in 1988, before transferring to the 188th Fighter Wing in 1991 as an information management specialist. She received her commission in 1998 and served as the Unit Intelligence Officer. Colonel Lipscomb moved on to support the Air Force as an Intelligence Officer for seven years, before returning to the 188th Fighter Wing in 2007. In 2009 Col Lipscomb moved to the 189th Airlift Wing as the Budget Officer and then was reassigned in 2010 to the Intelligence mission. In 2015 she was appointed Deputy Director of Staff at Joint Force Headquarters. Prior to assuming her current position, the colonel served as the Director of Staff, for the Arkansas Air National Guard. Colonel Lipscomb supported Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and Inherent Resolve.
Colonel Lipscomb lives in Cabot, Arkansas with her husband Master Sergeant Christopher Lipscomb and their son, Hayden Lipscomb.
