
Director of Public Relations – Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation
Rob Anderson is an Arkansas native entering his fifth year with Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation. As director of public relations, he edits and oversees the production of two magazines – Front Porch and Arkansas Agriculture – as well as all company digital and social media, video production and advertising. He began his career as a journalist in Louisiana and Georgia, before moving into the public relations field. He worked in communications for the Louisiana Public Health Institute and in social media with Keating Magee Advertising in New Orleans. While in New Orleans, he helped establish the free health clinic Luke’s House after Hurricane Katrina and served as adjunct faculty for the Tulane University School of Continuing Education. He most recently worked with CJRW, the largest advertising and public relations firm in Arkansas, where he served as Director of Content Strategy. In that position, he managed the Riceland Foods account and worked with clients such as the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, Arkansas State Police and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He has served on the boards of the Family Home of Little Rock and Arkansas Rice Depot and is chair emeritus of the Arkansas Hospice Foundation board. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University. He and his wife Leigh have one daughter, Emma.
