
Dewayne Cash is currently a Melt Shop Supervisor at Nucor-Yamato Steel. He has been with Nucor-Yamato for 24 years. Dewayne has served NYS in various roles throughout the Shipping, Melting and Casting areas. He has worked with teammates and leadership across divisions on initiatives that serve to develop and train Nucor’s current and future leaders.
A lifelong Arkansas resident, Dewayne graduated Gosnell High School and currently works toward an Associate’s Degree in Steel Related Technology at Arkansas Northeastern College.
Dewayne lives in Blytheville, AR with Janine, his wife of 24 years and daughter Emery, a standout Gosnell High School softball player and cheerleading captain. Dewayne and Janine’s son, Payton is a recent honors graduate of ANC who also completed the NYS Electrical Maintenance Internship program. Payton has gone on to accept a position with the NYS Electrical Maintenance department.
Dewayne and his family are members of Gosnell Baptist Church in Gosnell, AR. Spare time sees a mix of traveling for Competitive Girls’ Softball, Leisure and Competitive Cycling events, fundraising efforts and just good all-around family time.
