Margot Lemaster is the Executive Director of EngageNWA, an initiative of the Northwest Arkansas Council. EngageNWA is a regional collaborative effort with the goal to broaden inclusion and engagement while strengthening the regional economy by positioning Northwest Arkansas as a community of engaged global talent. In 2018 she completed a four-year strategic plan that involved input from a range of stakeholders from multiple sectors to set intentional steps to create a more inclusive region for everyone who calls Northwest Arkansas home. The Plan is the result of the first regional effort of its kind in the U.S. Prior to her role at EngageNWA she was Executive Director at Ozark Literacy Council where she led program expansion to three new satellite sites and oversaw the development of the organization’s first workplace literacy program in its 52-year history. Margot earned a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and is a native of Fayetteville where she lives with her husband and two dogs.
