Kevin Weldon was born 1981 in Osceola, Arkansas. Kevin then moved around the state quite a bit with his mother and step father. Kevin ended up staying in Tyronza, Arkansas until the eighth grade where he found a love for sports and his friends. In the middle of the eighth grade he moved to Osceola with his Aunt and Uncle where he continued his love for football. At the age of 17 he decided he wanted to move out on his own and pursue a summer job which later turned full time. March of 2003 he decided he was going to join the US Army where he attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. His army career took him to several countries like Iraq, Bulgari and Germany. Following his Military Career he was Honorably Discharged and spent one year in the Army reserves while he meet his wife who would later bless him with two children. Kevin began his career at Nucor Steel Arkansas in August of 2006. He has worked in several positions at Nucor including jobs in the Cold Mill, Water Treatment and his currently working as a Project Lead. Kevin looks forward to learning, growing and advancing in the steel industry.
