
Jim McGill is the Vice President and Business Unit Manager of SFI. SFI is a fully integrated metal fabricator encompassing plants in Memphis, TN and Conway, AR under the ownership umbrella of one of the largest steel processors in the country. SFI fabricates steel components for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the construction, agricultural, transportation, material handling, and power generation industry segments.
Currently he maintains accountability for the success of operations, account management, customer service, business development, estimating, and engineering. Through his 25 years of experience in the steel industry, he has developed a unique mix of strategic and analytical expertise, consistently exceeding performance and financial goals by aligning the effort of strong teams with organizational objectives. These accomplishments at SFI propel American manufacturers – allowing them to be globally competitive with a local supply base.
A native of Rose Bud, AR, Jim attended Hendrix College, graduated from University of Alabama, and received his MBA from Christian Brothers University. Jim resides in Little Rock with his son and is an avid college football fan, as well as a Founding Member of the Bullmoose Football Club. Whenever possible he enjoys golf and the general pursuit of tomfoolery.
