
Mr. Beranek is the President of the Little Rock Office and a project director for MCE. He oversees the Little Rock staff and is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of projects. His work entails contracting, scheduling, budgeting, expediting the engineers, surveying, and project design. He has over 20 years of civil and environmental engineering experience and has served as project engineer and project manager for roadway design, site development, water and wastewater, drainage, and recreational projects. Dan’s expertise includes project planning, funding assistance, project design, plans and specifications, and services during construction. He has developed numerous projects for state, municipal, and private sector clients throughout the time with MCE.

City of Little Rock, 3rd Street, Little Rock, AR
Roadway, drainage and utility design for the City of Little Rock Economic Development Administration grant. Project included a new 36-foot wide road from the east side of the Clinton Presidential site to the south side of the Heifer site.
MacArthur Park Connections Master Plan, Little Rock, AR
Project director on the MacArthur Park Connections Master Plan team. MCE designed McMath Blvd. and a new cross-park connecting lane. The pedestrian-friendly streets make extensive use of low-impact design techniques such as pervious pavement in the parking stalls to reduce runoff volume, bioretention areas to treat and slow the runoff and dispersed flow that minimizes the use of curbs, inlets and pipes.
El Dorado Entertainment District, El Dorado, AR
Project Director for the civil design (including Erosion Control, Site Drainage, Site Paving, Site Utility Plans) required to permit and support construction and/or renovations of the buildings as well as the site improvements for six city blocks as part of the new entertainment district.
Ninth Street Extension, Phase 2, Little Rock, AR
Project Director for the extension of Ninth Street as a minor arterial roadway and included design of a roundabout at the intersection of Sixth Street, Ninth Street, and Concord Avenue to support increased traffic due to expansion of the Dassault Falcon Jet facility. The project also included the reconstruction, realignment and widening from 2 to 4 lanes of 1,500 LF of Sixth Street.
Robinson Center Auditorium Renovation, Little Rock, AR
Civil Engineering Project Director for the $68 Million renovation of the historic Robinson Auditorium in downtown. Civil design included site work around the existing building including paving, the extension of new utilities and relocation of existing utilities to accommodate a new loading dock and service entrance off the La Harpe Boulevard side of the building.
