Bill Solleder is the Director of Marketing at Visit Hot Springs. In addition to the overall marketing strategy of the city’s tourism industry, Solleder produces the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, World Championship Running of the Tubs, Spa-Con and numerous community events for Visit Hot Springs.
Bill Solleder sparked a cultural update in Hot Springs when he founded Low Key Arts in 2006. As founder and former Executive Director of the community arts organization, he started and managed The Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival, Hot Water Hills Music & Arts Festival, Arkansas Shorts-A Night of Short Film, Inception to Projection Filmmaking Program and led the capital campaign to bring KUHS-LP 102.5FM, a community & solar powered radio to the airwaves.
Bill earned a Bachelor’s degree in Radio & Television from Southern Illinois University. He also completed the Community Development Institute program at the University of Central Arkansas.
Solleder has received numerous awards and recognitions including the Governor’s Conference Henry Awards (2017), Hot Springs Tourism Organization of the Year Award (2008), numerous nominations for the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Community Service Awards, The Sentinel Record Reader’s Choice Awards, and was named an Arkansas Times Arkansas Visionary (2015).
