Jonathan Adams currently serves as the Director of Membership & Business Development for the Arkansas Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Jonathan joined ABC in early 2012 and travels statewide promoting the various services and political platforms provided by the association. Through his work with ABC, Jonathan deals closely with commercial contractors across the state to develop their people, win work, and deliver that work safely, ethically, and profitably. The Arkansas chapter of ABC has grown over the past several years into one of the top performing chapters in the nation in terms of growth and member retention.
Prior to joining Associated Builders and Contractors, Jonathan held various leadership positions in the publishing industry in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Working with companies such as the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal & Arkansas Business, Tulsa Business Journal, and others. During his time in publishing, Jonathan oversaw the launch and growth of several niche publications, websites, and other profit centers across the state. His transition into the world of commercial construction has been seamless due to his previous work helping contractors build their brand.
Adams is a native of Jonesboro and holds a degree in Management and Sales from Arkansas State University.
Adams currently sits on the advisory board for the John Brown University Construction Management Department, and is a co-founder of the Central Arkansas Construction Young Professionals and the Northwest Arkansas Construction Young Professionals.
He and his wife Brandi live in Benton with their two children, Bradyn and Grace.
