Membership in the State Chamber/AIA gives you the opportunity to attend workshops, conferences, seminars, meetings and programs to network with business people and public policy decision-makers.

Annual Meeting

Business and community leaders from all over Arkansas convene each fall for the State Chamber/AIA’s Annual Meeting. Our premier membership event of the year, this is your opportunity to join senior management and governmental affairs representatives of our state’s most influential businesses, key legislative and government officials, and local chamber of commerce executives. This event offers great networking opportunities and updates on topics that affect your bottom line.

Annual Washington Fly-In and Congressional Dinner

The State Chamber/AIA’s Annual Washington Fly-In and Congressional Dinner is a time-honored governmental affairs activity that features plenty of opportunities for productive contact with members of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation and their staffs in order to bring local, statewide and national issues to their attention. Business and community leaders from throughout the state join us for this event, which is highlighted each year by a reception and dinner. We also visit with our senators and representatives and their staffs at their offices and at district breakfasts, luncheons and dinners.

Small Business Awards Luncheon

Each year, the State Chamber/AIA honors the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Persons of the Year in Arkansas with this luncheon and awards ceremony. The event also recognizes award winners in various other categories including Veteran Small Business, Financial Services, Minority Small Business, Women in Business, Home-Based Business, SBA Volume Lender, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Family-Owned Business and Resource Partners.

Arkansas Procurement Opportunities Conference

In an effort to support the growth of Arkansas’s small businesses, the State Chamber in partnership with our Congressional offices, federal and state agencies, and local entities host the Arkansas Procurement Opportunities Conference. Some 350 local and regional small business owners (SBEs, MBEs, WBEs and DBEs) come together for a full day of prearranged face-to-face meetings with procurement professionals from federal, state and local government agencies, major corporations, non-profits and prime contractors.
